BACK PAIN


Back pain is something almost everyone will experience at some point in their life. From office work to heavy lifting, various activities can lead to both acute and long-term discomfort. The pain can occur in different parts of the back – from the upper part, which often affects people with sedentary jobs, to the more common pain area in the lower back.
What causes back pain?
Back pain can be non-specific, meaning that there is not always one clear cause. It can be the result of muscle tension, poor posture, overuse, or injury. Although there are specific diagnoses such as herniated disc or prolapse, it is often difficult to pinpoint a single cause. Often the pain will be due to a combination of factors that affect the function of the back.
